Truly, liver imbalance can be one of the most disturbing things in one's life. Anger is such a tricky emotion to handle. I for example believe I have a very strong liver, but I think this is exactly what is causing it to "act out", overheat and manifest itself in a negative way.

It would be interesting to explain how an organ's strength, weakness, overheating and imbalance manifest themselves and how they relate to one another, since those conditions can be confusing at times. Also, how does the liver's health relate to the health of the organ that precedes it in the Control Cycle (the lungs with corresponding to the metal element). Maybe in some cases, strengthening the lungs may bring the liver to a more balanced state more easily.

Patrice,
Thank you for your comment. I have added our phone numbers to the about page. Jason is on a qigong training retreat and will be available to return calls 2/2/09. If there's something I can help with before then don't hesitate to call me.
All the best,
Anna

Jason,

Congrats on the new place. I must have past by it 400x in my youth. Its been about a year now since I finally started getting my own yang/heat/digestive fire back. Whew! I had tremendous jaw pain at ST6, then in the upper back, for over two years stating from before I last saw you (Aug. 06) which I cleared up after being Led to macrobiotic and ayurvedic studies. So its great to be on the road back, so to speak.
I invite you and yours to a brunch on Sunday Feb. 8 at noon, and of course I would really very much be honored if you were able to come. It is quite accessible via rail being we (neighborhood and I)are having it at the New Providence rail station. I'll send you a copy/flier.. but j.i.c., you take a westbound train from S.O. or Mplwd. to New Prov. An 11:47AM train would get here at 12:10PM with a change in Summit to the Gladstone line. Bring cards?
